Brand Buyology 101

WHERE LEFT BRAIN MEETS RIGHT

“Buyology” involves the reconciliation process that occurs in the consumer’s brain. The right (creative, passionate) brain desires something, and the left (analytical, logical) brain sets about validating that desire.  Properly tailored, neuromarketing can capitalize on that process by identifying and evoking the emotional response needed to create desire for your product or service. The validation part of the equation is all about value (what will THIS do for ME?). Fill in these blanks in the mind of the consumer and your brand will reach its buyological best: “I want this because [blank]” and “it’s a great value because [blank]”.
